Description

Level 1 of my online game series, a mix of the classic games Mega Man and Metroid.
The main theme is Ben Lewis's Brinstar Remix, boss theme is Gux's It's Boss Time.

Probably the first real game I've ever made, and my first flash game. I started working on the project that would eventually become this game almost as soon I started using Flash. I had always wanted to make an old-school game, and a Contra game turned into a Mega Man game turned into a Metroid game. I even dropped the project two or three times, but each time I restarted it.

At first I attempted to make a completely original Mega Man level, but I'm too terrible an artist, and only after playing through the original Metroid in Metroid Prime did I come up with the idea. I literally studied Metroid level design. I took notes. Enjoy.

Megaman is a trademark of Capcom. Metroid and Samus Aran are trademarks of Nintendo. Neither company has not endorsed this game in any way. I don't know about you, but I think the Resident Evil movie is a misunderstood masterpiece.
